Leikkipuisto Hilleri

Arriving in the center, some children are interested in our presence.

We move towards the entrance and we begin to see some parents who arrive or who are talking outside,  making their best out of the splendid sun shining today.

A view of the outside facilities where children play.

Inside, some children play in the soil.

Behind, two of the monitors of the center. On the right, a mother who speaks Spanish and translates us the monitors’ explanations.

Space with different uses, with a kitchen and a corner where to eat, to play or devoted to reading.

Outside, the center is gardened and comprises a very large space. To us, it is surprising that the space is not limited by fences. A small boy, under the attentive look of the monitor or his mother, is exploring ¡t.

Parents and children move freely within the center's installations. Each space invites to a different kind of activity and groups are formed in a spontaneous way.
As Teresa Cabrera explains in her chronicle, behind this spontaneity lies a good organization and some good professionals that make it possible.
